Our Story

Here at Anchor Food Pantry, we are committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2020, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!

Anchor Garden

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and every family operates and functions in their own unique, but if there's one constant that should be present in every family besides the general love that family brings, it's access to healthy and nutritious foods, it's the ability to provide for your family the one true essential in life: sustenance.  We are proud to offer our members fresh vegetables and herbs from our garden beds.

Winter Bags

Our Winter Bag distribution was a true community effort.  Each guest that visited us or had a delivery during the last week of December received this bag of items to keep them warm, healthy and full.   Bags included Stop & Shop gift cards, blankets, socks, hats & mittens, beef stew, chicken soup, pancake mix, maple syrup, muffing mix, cookies, popcorn, candy, cough drops & chap stick.
